Delete your Remindon account

You can request deletion of your Remindon account and its data at any time, either from inside the Remindon mobile app or from this website — you don't need the app installed to do it. Deletion requires verifying a one-time code sent to your account email, so no one else can delete your account by mistake or on your behalf.

Option 1: From the Remindon app

  1. Open the Remindon app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account, review what will be deleted, and type DELETE to confirm.
  4. Tap Send verification code — a 6-digit code is emailed to your account address.
  5. Enter the code to confirm. Your account is deactivated immediately.

Option 2: From the web

  1. Sign in at app.remindon.com/login with your Remindon email and password.
  2. Go to Account.
  3. Select Delete my account, and enter the 6-digit code emailed to you to confirm.

What gets deleted, and when

  • Immediately: your account is deactivated — you're signed out everywhere and can no longer log in.
  • After a 30-day grace period: your account and, if you own a family, its documents, family member profiles, and subscription records are permanently and irreversibly erased, including any files you uploaded (identity documents, photos, and other attachments).
  • Changed your mind? The confirmation email includes a link to restore your account any time within those 30 days.

If you're a member of someone else's family (not the owner), only your own account and login are removed — the family's shared documents belong to the family and are not affected.

If you own a family that has other members still using it, you'll need to transfer ownership or remove those members first — this is so deleting your account can never remove someone else's access or data without their own consent. The app and the Account page will tell you if this applies to you and what to do.
